Client Responsibilities
Vaccinations & Health
All pets must be up-to-date on required vaccinations and free of contagious illness prior to services.
Proof of vaccination must be uploaded to the Client Portal and kept current.
Rainy Day Pets reserves the right to decline service if a pet displays signs of illness that may pose a risk to other animals or caregivers.
Pet Supplies
Clients are responsible for providing all necessary supplies, including:
- •Food and treats
- •Medications (clearly labeled with instructions)
- •Leash and properly fitted harness/collar
- •Waste bags
- •Any special care items
Rainy Day Pets is not responsible for adverse reactions related to client-provided food, treats, medications, or equipment.
Home Access & Security
Clients must provide safe, reliable, and secure access to their home for scheduled services.
This includes ensuring that:
- •Keys, lockboxes, or entry codes are functioning properly
- •Building access is arranged in advance
- •Alarm systems are disarmed prior to arrival
If access is unavailable at the scheduled service time, the visit will be considered fulfilled and charges will apply.
Waste Disposal
Clients must provide dog waste bags and clearly indicate where waste should be disposed.
Lockbox / Entry Requirement
For recurring services, a secure and consistent entry method (lockbox, key, or code) is required.
Rainy Day Pets is not responsible for missed visits due to inaccessible entry.
